Need a few sample paragraphs to help your child get started on Continuous Writing compositions? Look no further: here are four different paragraphs to begin your composition with. Do note that the text (in terms of style and vocabulary used) was written with students of ages 10 to 12 in mind.

Download here.

Further disclaimer: although model texts are good for deconstruction processes, I do not recommend memorising them. The child may be able to reproduce the text, but not fully understand the metalinguistic skills that come with creating them. Please contact us if you’d like to find out more about how we use such sample texts to teach our students.
