working hand-in-hand with caregivers

We maximise our learners' potential by working closely with their parents, teachers, and other supporting specialists (e.g. psychologists).

individualised educational plans

Our lesson plans are specifically created to suit the learner's needs, so that he/she can learn at a pace that's best suited for him/her.

Built off Orton-Gillingham (OG) Principles

We use a heavily modified OG approach, which includes phonics and multi-sensorial elements, to support struggling readers and writers.

But wait, we're not done yet

GAME-BASED LEARNING

We use role-playing games and board games to facilitate learning. This style of academic learning is unique to the Swords & Stationery approach; we are the only organisation in the world that does this.

HAND-CRAFTED DIGITAL PRESENTATIONS

Before every lesson, we will create a digital, animated presentation using PowerPoint, Prezi, and other similar tools. Classes are highly interactive and lively, while difficult concepts are easy as pie to understand.

MORPHOLOGICAL AWARENESS TRAINING

We teach morphemes (i.e. meaningful units of a word) to our learners. This has helped many of them to ace their English. Without a dictionary, can you guess what "verisimilitude" means? Our students can!

MODULAR CONCEPTS AND TECHNIQUES

Our curriculum includes over 120 highly effective modular concepts, techniques and frameworks, that can be scaled to any level, age and learning ability.
